From Tsuruoka Station, I took a public bus to the aquarium. Mt Chokai was seen beyond the sea.

At first, the aquarium shows us local freshwater and marine lives.

Then, some 80 species of jellyfishes!!

In the corner of the exhibition floor, there was a short lecture on jellyfishes by one keeper/researcher.

Jellyfish Dream Theater, in which there are thousands of mizukurage jellyfishes.

When I came to the pool, the keepers fed fishes to the seals.

The roof terrace is also nice to relax.

Pin badges with the design of jellyfish were sold by capsuled-toy vending machines. They said that there are 108 kinds of badges, and all proceeds are used for purchasing foods of jellyfishes. I must buy it. The mine was Kitakamikurage Jellyfish.

After enjoying exhibitions, I took lunch in a restaurant attached to the aquarium. I chose a set meal of jellyfish!

It contained three jellyfish plates, which were salad, sashimi, and vinegared one. The taste was….. Confirm by yourself.

End.
